I am the mother of three adult children whose birth mother died of cancer when they were young. When I met them, they were ages twelve, ten, and eight, all grieving in very different ways. (You can hear more about our story here.)
Over the years, I have seen first hand the pain and confusion that accompanies childhood loss. If left unresolved, the traumas and heartbreaks of life can lead kids down a path of bitterness, depression, anxiety, delinquency, and faithlessness.
However, I have also seen the healing that can take place when children begin to understand who Jesus is and how much He loves them.
I know that we can make a difference by lovingly directing brokenhearted kids back to Jesus.
Scripture tells us that God has provided a supernatural cure for broken hearts. Jesus reveals in Luke 4:18: He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted.
We know that the healing of broken hearts can only come through the Healer. It is my sincerest hope that this ministry reveals Him in such a way that these precious children leave changed, restored, and whole.
